i had the pleasure of working for a week with a lovely anesthesia intern that i began the start of intern year with.

how fitting that we started together, and faced the halfway mark of intern year together.

she is a lovely girl who found out that she and her husband are having their first child, and her family lives in the area, so she invited me to her parents' house for dinner tonight, and it was such fun! i made the drive out to delaware for sunday supper.

it's nice to know that hospitality and kindness are very much alive today.

people just don't realize how these small actions really DO bring sunshine to people's lives.
