i love my google reader.

i often hunt about for neat fashion/food/design/travel blogs, and came across one that is particularly cool.

camp comfort is the name.

she mentioned listing 5 things that start with a letter of the alphabet that you like.

granted, all the letters don't allow for that (i.e. x)

but without further ado:
A

1. Apples:
an oldie but goodie. as a child i was deprived and only ate red or golden delicious. ughh. but a new world of Fuji, HoneyCrisp, and Pink Lady appears....and they are fantastic.
with caramel, without, in a pie or a turnover, apple juice (the Simply apple type that is fresh squeezed and delightful), apple cider.

2. american apparel:
if you can take away the sex-saturated advertisments, this would be pretty right on. i'm a fan of color, so the fact that there are multiple colors of basics sort of makes my life brighter. i have a circle scarf that i bought there a year or so ago, and it is always with me these days.

3. aa milne:
winnie the poo. need we say more? okay, maybe tigger too. and piglet. and eyore. my children will watch the shows and have the stories read to them.

4. the ANGST of teenagers:
i missed the personal experience, so i LOVE to live vicariously through teens in books and movies and tv shows. hello! 80's movies, my so-called life, the oc, i can go on and on.

5. Airline:
a grand nashville band that is no more. becca wilson took me to their show at the exitin.....i fell in love. great songwriting:
"i fell out of love, and into your arms. It was a simple mistake."
