i'm cleaning out my wardrobe.
which consists of me going through all the file folders that hold old receipts, bill stubs, cards, bank statements, loan stuff, grades, etc.
there is a quite a bit to throw away....so i'm doing that.
but especially currently, i've been so preoccupied with what i've given up/lost/"insert verb here" that i forgot how loved i've been and currently am.
there are some amazing letters from friends from my acceptance to med school, valentine's day(s), christmas, my birthday.....it's heart-warming.
so since excerpts might be too much for this forum, i AM going to post my valentine's card from my younger brother about....8 years ago. my freshman year of college, right after eric and i broke up...and I threw away all of his valentine's candy. (awful eh?)
for starters, the envelope has his return address, but no address for me, just my name, with a heart and an arrow that says "I love you" above it. (apparently my mom didn't tell him, and put it in another envelope).
then he wrote the note on the wrong side of the card. it says:
"Dear Britt,
Did you know that it is Valentine's Day?" Well anyway, I hope that you are doing good and remember evil comes in many forms.
Love,
Keenan
PS: Hannah told me to tell you hello."
HAHAHA.
still gets me!
my first advent calendar!

that may seriously be the most astounding wording in any card ever.
