i guess either of these phrases work in my life right now.
alliedearest posted a blog about devotion. and i'm right there with her. i have all of these great ideas, and they mostly just fall through, and i end reading my bible and praying no more than i talk to someone weekly. (sad but true).
i'm hoping this fact ceases to make me feel guilty or that i do it out of compulsion, but that it can morph into a time that i look forward to fondly. time with a dear friend.
at any rate, i'm quite nervous about starting tomorrow. and i'm even more nervous about my last medical board on tuesday.
i really would just like it to be friday afternoon already. i'd feel a lot better.
hmm. i feel like all of my feelings have been poured out into a jar. or down a disposal. and all that is left is the awareness that i feel a bit hollow.
2008, i'm going to need you to deliver. you gave me hope at the start, kicked me when i was down, and then picked me up and dusted me off (i'm still smarting from the fall). please don't do anything mean again.
thank you.

2008 Definitely needs to end with a bang. I feel like this year has been one of my strangest. And leading up to my 30th birthday in December, I want more. More, I tell you.
