so medicine is a lifestyle of life-long learning. re-certification boards. neverending plethora of tests.
but yesterday, i finished the last real test of my educational career.
it's been a longtime coming.
and i think it went well. so we'll see in 6 weeks.
i celebrated with a family style meal at the primrose ladies house. we had: pasta with italian sausage, baked chicken, garlic bread, a salad with homemade balsamic vinaigrette, and a snickers pie, and endless red wine. (and yazoo for lisa)
alyson and i manned the kitchen, katie cut the onions and the bread. haha.
brock, sam, and johnathan graced us with their presence(s). shelby and katie's sister dropped in briefly to say hi. we sat around, listened to the dinner mixed cd i made. baxter ate his peanut butter.
i can't believe no one took pictures. oh well. the scene stays in my mind.
i booked my ticket to chicago today. and got the itinerary for italy. so excited.
i sat with the infirmed shelby today in brentwood. she sprained her neck, so i brought my chick-fil-a over and we laughed and chatted. allie came home for lunch and she joined in the fun.
today brock came over to say goodbye/get his physical. he's seems to be quite healthy. which i was glad to report. mainly he wanted to get his cd, i think. (somewhere he is shaking his head at me)
i think i might write a haiku.
my first advent calendar!
