living is simple

it is on overcast chilly saturday afternoons that i feel this way. sometimes.

when there is nothing really vying for my time.

i'm lying on a body pillow covered with an electric blanket....reading medicine cases listening to Coldplay's "Have yourselves a merry little Christmas."

i just finished searching for cool things to do in NYC that are off the beaten path. (i'm going in january). I found:
1. a place that makes incredible hot chocolate....melting quality chocolate, scalding milk, etc...
2. a place to eat mussels/steak & frites: a Belgian restaurant
3. an art exhibit with an interplay between light & sound...if you move the music (it's some contemporary classical composer) changes depending on what you are doing...and it only stays on the same note when you are completely still. .....amazing!
4. you can go on a CITY-WIDE scavenger hunt!
5. go to a planeterium
6. have tapas

i could cry i'm so excited.
