fingers crossed

THAT:

1) there aren't too many consults today
2) that there is a tv that picks up the CW so i can watch gossipgirl while at the hospital
3) that there is a cheap ticket to NYC from Nash in Nov.
4) that the head of neuro at beth israel replies to my email

this is my last monday here. i've thoroughly enjoyed my month up here. i have learned a lot, debunked the myth of harvard as utterly pretentious and snotty, and fallen in love again with this city.

i went back to cambridge yesterday, had bubble tea at a tea cafe (it was no swanky chicago teashop though), and then went and saw Nick & Nora's Infinite Playlist. which i thought was cute. although i must say that there are no movies i want to see after seeing the previews.

ughh. thanksgiving looks quite blah from a film standpoint.

this week is the week of loose-ends.
