so the plan today was to go whale watching. unfortunately, the girl who was organizing it all underestimated the amount of time we needed to get there, so we missed the boat pulling out of the harbor.
so we decided to go on a tour of george's island instead. only to find out that the boat had only one engine working so they dropped us off at the island and wouldn't come back for an extra 1.5 hrs.
to make things even more awesome the snack bar on the island was closing for the season and was pretty much out of food AND only taking cash.
luckily we got to the stand first and the guy was doing a buy 1 get 1 free special on everything. so the 4 of us put our money together and got 8 hotdogs and 4 drinks between us.
we sat and talked about life and whatnot....and then wandered around the island. then we came back and found a place to watch the baseball game and ate lobster! yum yum.
i am now watching gossip girl and enjoying the last night of my long weekend. it has improved from friday for sure.
