strange labor day

this is the first labor day in 4 years that i'm not in nashville.

the first one where i will not be grilling out with friends.

i'm currently being watched by No Reservations on the travel channel and eating leftover stuffed crust pizza from Giordano's.

i could head out to the grill party at a mutual friend's but.....i won't know anyone there. and i don't know if i feel like having to put on a game face amongst people i don't really have much in common with yet. maybe i will wait a couple of hrs.

i'll tell you all how chicago in general is going in another blog soon.
