One day at a time

so i submitted ERAS yesterday afternoon. early afternoon. the school of course has yet to get my letters of rec from the doctors. how convenient that i'm more than 100s of miles away and can't harrass them in person.

i got out for the first time this week before 6. so i found the local mall in maywood (which also has a steve & barry's store), and went to sear's to get pictures done for my application.

bit by bit the pieces are falling into place. i've been browsing the pages of hospitals online in the programs i applied to. checking out vacation, call schedules, rotation schedules, benefits, etc. i try to imagine myself in a year....in a long white coat in a city of currently undisclosed location.

eeek!

in other news, the dell people are supposed to come tomorrow morning and fix my computer. i hope it is the end of this saga.

so i've said once, and i'll say again: I LOVE THIS CITY. people can't drive in the rain here....but they can't in nashville either. so what's new?

i guess that's all for now. i need to go and see my parkinson's patient and finish my note. i hope i get out early today too.
