So apparently expressways and major roads in chicago are flooding today.
i had no idea. but since this is my last weekend in chicago, i decided to wander around Wicker Park.
what luck! i was a crafts fair there today. so i took a little cab (since CTA was shut down) and wandered to my wet feet's delight through all the stalls. i also managed to pop my head in a few stores, and sit in a neat little coffee shop with a pumpkin muffin.
not too bad. until my feet were all slimy from walking around in wet shoes. and my jeans were soaked.....so...yeah, it was time to come back to apt.
lots of a day left. and not a thing (besides studying? pshaw) to do.
