i get by with a little help

this weekend was splendid.

i needed hugs and laughs and bubble tea and cupcakes. and more laughs.

staying at shelby's with the rooms all empty was so strange. the end of an era. allie and i had our long talks in Happy the Metro, we hung out in the village, wandered about green hills, and found some deals in UAL. but things felt differently. Fido felt sort of foreign to me....stores have switched places, things have closed down, and i've only been gone for 4 months.

pie day friday was a success. the last one. i was really great to see everyone who showed up.

octoberfest was such fun on saturday AND i got a huge stein.

the highlight however was Sunday. I got a bit emotional being in Redeemer...in particular when we were reciting the Nicene Creed. It is something to feel so loved by people.
AHHH.
