comfort and things

so it has been quite a while since i've updated.
mostly because there was so much....and i didn't know where to start.

so in the past 2 1/2 months i've moved to Philly and started work.

I have to say I have learned some things already.

Comfort in the small things has been my motto. whether that is being able to sleep in my own bed; sleep in until 9 am (or if i'm really pathetic 7 am); actually cooking dinner and not being too tired to eat it. going to the grocery store. being able to go to church. a hug.

relish the good times. i hold on to kind guestures, a good laugh, some peace and quiet, sleep, time to actually have a nice meal, a day off. all the things you take for granted when you don't have to stay in hospital for 30 hrs every 4th night and 8-12 hrs all the other days.

i have to say that i miss my church probably the most. Sundays were my day of restoration. and now i'm just looking for a place to sink my roots. but it took me 6 yrs to find Redeemer....so we'll see.

i also miss my friends that are Believers. even though you are far away, I know your prayers for me impact my life because God has been quite gracious towards me, and this transition has been far easier than i could have expected.

and philly. i love you. you are a diamond in the rough.
