actually i'm okay with being in town.
today was my first day in the ER on the job that is. for a grade.
good times. i like my new attending: dr. bullock.
she's quite nice and easy to talk to. reminds me a lot of dr. hancock.
i had 2 patients today. both quite nice and i learned a lot about how the ER is not like any other place in the hospital. or anyother health care provider i guess you could say.
tomorrow i will most likely start an IV. since i watched a nurse, who then told me that tomorrow i could do it. :-)
tehee.
i hope i don't kink up the line like i did the last time with paul.
in other news.
i'm counting down until the 3rd permanent roommate (dear ashley) comes.
i have a petpeeve about people getting comfortable with my space (i.e. my room) when they are not family or friend. please don't have the audacity to get comfortable with using my computer and sit in MY chair in MY room....and then continue to take your sweet time after i get home.
i've been in the hospital all day for crying out loud. i'd like my space. my sanctuary.
i mean....come on. telling you that it's okay to use my computer to check your email once, does not give you free reign of my computer forever and ever amen.
b/c i'm passive aggressive i'm going to start packing it up and taking it with me for the next couple of weeks.
geez.
i understand why allie has a password on hers.
okay. over it. :-)
