tonight i was reconnected with an old friend from elementary school. she was a few years older. It appears that she has kept up with her best friend from her class those years ago.

i looked at the pictures from just recently with wistfulness. i had friendships from then that I was sure would've survived to now.

alas. they have not.

oh well.
