have people resorted to immature namecalling in the aftermath of this election?

righteous indignation welled up and i felt compelled to leave a few comments on a couple of people's blogs because of the ridiculous pseudo-spiritual remarks made.

nothing irritates me more than people quoting PARTS of scripture that aren't even relevant to to the discussion at hand. or people acting as if they have a monopoly on communicating with God on the source of corruption and the disentegration of values in our country and abroad.

can we stop for a moment and remember something.

for the record, Paul was not referring to the roman empire at large. he was referring literally to the spiritual warfare in the heavenlies.

so I have no idea why all of God's people can't just get along. because if we can't, please tell me how all the truly bigoted and terrified people are going to reconcile themselves to the state of the union?

what i would like to see is hope. In God's faithfulness, in His provision, and in the fact that this election has touched the hearts of many people around the country and the world. isn't that exciting?

I am utterly tired of this Lou Engle, Hannity, and anyone else that spews this sensational junk about the apocalypse and give any man way more power over the future of this country than he deserves.

the Church should be doing what they should have been doing when Bush was president: pray. that has not changed a bit.
