killing time

i'm in the lobby of my hotel in rhode island. i checked out, but my flight is not until four thirty, so i'm enjoying the free wireless here, and then will head to the airport.

so far i've had 3 interviews, and i've enjoyed all the places i've gone. very much.

so i have no idea.

i guess we'll see.

in the meantime, a quick recap of what has transpired:

-arrived to a rainy nyc thursday night. caught a cab to my friend's apt in Hell's Kitchen.
-went to intervew on friday morning. got out early-ish and went bumming about Soho.
-found a sample sale and got an awesome new year's eve dress.
-went to a dumpling bar for dinner, in vain, went to see slumdog millionaire, but the film was sold out. went to a wine & cheese bar for dessert: ricotta (homemade) cheesecake with phyllo crust, and wine soaked cherries.
-went to bed. woke up for next interview. which was quite successful, made some new friends and saw an old one. changed and met a friend for brunch in Brooklyn.
-went back to soho: found Uniqlo and Muji, sadly TopShop is not open yet.
-traipsed around the upper west side with Chandni and then went to french restaurant and then to see SlumDog Millionaire.
-went to bed. missed church, but met up with friends at brunch place Prune in the East Village. had an amazing dutch pancake with pears. then ran to the apt, grabbed my stuff, and caught my bus to providence.
-interview yesterday morning. made some new friends. watched lots of tv.
-went to bed. slept in. re-packed, and here i am.

OH! Elena had her baby saturday. AND i saw Keira Knightley while at brunch Sunday. She is delightfully cute and short.

so. back to Nash tonight. And in the air again Thursday morning. joy of joys. off to Philly.
